Brief: Design a reception interactive wall that is capable of being used as a normal PC for hosting customers as well as integrating Sky TV and music for parties and receptions.
Solution: The Clarity Nearlife wall runs on a single PC (running Windows XP) which can be used as a giant PC or to display touch applications such as the one on the right. A new added feature was the creation of a mouse emulator so that the whole PC can be touch enabled. Using sophisticated AV programming and Ethernet/RS232 controlled components a smaller touch screen is able to control everything and negates the need to enter the main cabinet where the infra red lights and cabling are.
This system is easily upgraded and runs on a standard Dell multimedia PC. Further multi-touch applications can be developed using Macromedia Flash and Clarity Nearlife embedded libraries.
